Lisa Morales-Hellebo is a serial entrepreneur, seasoned product strategist, and creative director with a career that spans 20 years helping companies; from start-ups to F500s (such as Coca-Cola, P&G, Hasbro and Nexxus) maximize conversions via multi-channel, e-commerce product strategy, development, and brand extension. She most recently was the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the New York Fashion Tech Lab, which she launched with Springboard Enterprises and the Partnership Fund for NYC. Her previous fashion tech startup, Shopsy, leveraged patent pending, smart data, Remix Technology to allow women to shop online the way they shop offline — browsing and mixing items in context to produce inspiring combinations, executed via proprietary algorithms (aka, contextual search).
Lisa is active in the startup community as an alumna of TechStars and Springboard Enterprises, along with being a member of 85 Broads, the Dell Founders Club, and mentoring at The Founder Institute. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for SNOBSWAP, Voysee, and Viawear, while mentoring fashion tech startups around the globe. Born in the Bronx, New York, Lisa went to college in Pittsburgh, where she received her BFA with University Honors in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a life-long lover of all things fashion, is addicted to magazines, new media, technology and travel. While living in Norway with her husband for nearly three years, she freelanced and learned the language, adding fluent Norwegian to her list of accomplishments. Lisa lives in the NYC suburbs of Westchester County with her husband and two sons.
